Rental Terms & Conditions
Reservations: Reservations can be taken by via email or fax. A $250 deposit is required for all reservations (this will be applied to the damage deposit or rental fee at time of vechicle pick up). Please reserve well in advance to ensure the departure date of your choice.
Payments: Payment of all rental charges, including damage deposit are due upon pickup of the vehicle. Payment can be made by travelers checks, credit cards (with a 3% processing fee) U.S. Dollars, or cashiers check. Sorry, personal checks are not accepted at this time.
Damage Deposit: A $500 damage/cleaning deposit due at time of pickup is entirely refundable less any damage, loss of equipment, cleaning, refueling and extra day fees. Renter is liable for all damages to vehicle, tires and equipment incurred during rental period.
Drivers License/ Driving Age: Drivers must be 25 years old with a valid drivers license. We recommend an international drivers license for foreign travelers. Please list all drivers on the reservation form.
Vehicle Pickup and Return: Vehicles are available for pick up from 8 AM to 8 PM Monday - Thurday. We are happy to pick up travelers in their rental van at the Anchorage Airport. Arrangements can also be made for weekend pickups.
Travel Areas: Travel on the Denali, Taylor, and Dalton Highways is not allowed. Driving on unpaved, dirt roads and "off-road" areas is not permitted. Renters are liable for all damage to vehicle, tires, towing charges and other expenses as a result of a breakdown associated with operating in these areas.
Camper Rules: No smoking in the camper, please. Moderate cleaning supplies are provided. We expect renters to keep the campers relatively clean, and return them in good condition. This keeps our (and your) costs down. Normal wear is expected, but we do not offer cleaning as a service and leaving a mess is considered damage. Pets are welcome with prior approval. Towing of anything is prohibited, as is sitting or standing on the roof on the vechicle.

Insurance: If your personal auto insurance covers rv rentals (liability, comprehensive and collision) you will need to provided us your insurance information prior to the rental so we can verify the coverage. Otherwise commercial insurance which offers minimum statutory liablity, comprehensive and collision coverage will be required.
